A spooky story

 

The cold night of December 13, 1992, the wind was blowing and the snow was falling, when a filthy black car appeared in front of the isolated house that Nick Spooky used to live.

Nick was a middle-aged man. He was tall and thin with short dark hair and a crooked nose. He used to like watching other people from his small window just for fun. But that night things didn't go as he wished to...

The car stopped a few metres away from his house. A muscular man got out of the car and started looking in a mysterious way at the surroundings. Two minutes later another man was standing near the first one and he was talking with him in a low voice.

Like always Nick was looking out of his window and he was watching these mysterious men in a suspicious way. At that moment the two people started digging and then they put inside the hole an old chest, so big that a person could lie in it... Τhere WAS INDEED A PERSON inside it. This person was a young woman! When Nick found the chest and looked inside, he recognised the face of HIS wife who had died eight years ago.......
